Animals ‘Ewe’ Would Have Loved

On our first day back we were overjoyed to see a field full of lovely farm animals ready to be stroked and held. The children marvelled at the difference between woolly coats, fur, feathers and shell. The animals were delighted to receive so much attention from their loving audience and Farmer Chris told us all about their names, eating habits and other scientific facts whilst we held them.

Later in the week Terence the Tortoise, Georgia’s Gerbils and Henrietta the Hen taught us so much about domestic animals and also reinforced alliteration! We all had so much to talk and write about. What a lovely start to the term.
