Year 1 Fun at Gatton Park

Year 1 had a wonderful day at Gatton Park . We spent the morning in costumes undertaking a magical quest, exploring parts of the gardens which sparked the children’s imagination to prompt a lot of creative language and role play.

After a delicious picnic in the sunshine, the children used their senses to create a smelly cocktail, found textured natural items, listened to a variety of sounds and made a colour palette out of petals.

What a wonderful first school trip of the year.
